Spring is in the air...

                               Welcome to J.D.Fields Newsletter.

I am creating this newsletter to shares my life journey with my dyslexia, art, family and friends. I pray that my clumsy words and bad spelling will bring you humor, comfort, understanding about dyslexia and the steps that I have and are going though and where I am going in the art world. But most of all I want y'all to take from this newsletter a life filled with inspiration and love.

Until next time, Happy Creating and God Bless

A BIG Howdy from Northern Texas.

WOW can you believe we are already in May? and where has the time gone for it has been 5 months since the move to Texas but it feels like on a few weeks have pass.

I want to give a Big Happy Mother Day to everyone.

In April the warm weather suddenly sprang up in Texas. After we move to Texas in Jan it was a real adjustment with all the snow, wind and cold weather but now spring is here with nature in full swing. Time to paint...

                This is the Texas Bluebonnets
Here are my new creations from my last newsletter. Enjoy

Spring Day
12" x 12" Acrylic painting on a Box Canvas.
It had been cold wet and gray sky in March and all of Northern Texas where looking for signs of Spring. Hench forth the Painting'Spring Day'.

Plein Air at the
Bluebonnet Park Bridge in Ennis, Texas
This is a 5"x 7" Acrylic painting on Masonite Board

Kaweah River
(in Central Californian)
16" x 20  Acrylic painting on Stretch Canvas

A couple of years ago Hubby and I went camping up at Three River about 5 miles for the Red Woods. While driving around the area we stumble across the Kaweah River with its smooth white rocks, its overgrown trees and bushes and it's slow lazy flow of water over the rocks. I knew I want to paint it someday and that day is now.

And here are the VBS (Vacation Bible School) Banners that I work on every year.

Just before we moved to Texas I told my former church if they sent me everything I would paint the banner again this year and here they are.

This banner is the Logo for this year VBS. It is the size of a king size bed sheet.

This banner is the Food Court Banner.
Every year the church feeds the children, staff, workers, volunteers and parents dinner before class. This is a full King bed size sheet that I painted from top to bottom and side to side as you can see here is this photo.

These are five daily banner and they are the size of an open stranded pillow case
